So here are my completed pages from my April Scrapbook Class...

This last page was made out of all my scraps. I lined it up using my grid paper and used single sided tape on the back to attach all the scraps of paper together to create a collage page. This is something I like to do every now and again with my scraps. I most often end up loving the page! :)

Some Cards for a Change...

I wanted to use up some left-over bits from my Sunshine Garden Kit Class. So I decided to make some cards out of it. I made the first three cards out of left-over bits and coordinating some of my favourite stamps to complimment the pages. LOVE how many pages and cards you can make out of ONE kit!!! Come to one of my Scrapbook classes to see how much you can get done in ONE night!!! You will blow yourself away!

These two cards I made for a wedding and a just for anytime card. I am taking part in a bootcamp style training to help me build my Stampin' Up! business. Get ready, I'm looking to get people to say "no!" to me! I'll be calling to explain! :):) Don't be afraid to say no, but don't be afraid to say yes either! :):)

So the week of Easter, I was away on business, so I found myself assembling these cute little goodie baggies on the plane coming home. I got some funny stares, but it was well worth it! I have THE perfect frog shots now for this page!!! I will upload the finished page as soon as I print the shots. :):)

So here is one of my FAVOURITE kits of this catalogue!!! I haven't placed all the pictures, but this past weekend, we had our FIRST big frog in the yard. So ofcourse my boys got it and MY HUBBY hollered at me to grab our camera for the perfect pictures for my frog pages!!! Yeah him!!! He is really helping me out with my addiction! Enjoy! Stampin' Up! Regionals in London

What a terrific day I spent yesterday with a bunch of terrific gals! We made a ton of great projects, which I am highlighting here. Best of all, I am now hooked on getting a Big Shot die-cutter. As soon as I get it (sometime in April), you will see TONS of craft ideas you can use this for! It can cut OVER 50 different materials!!! WOWIE!!!! So here is a peak at all the items we made yesterday as well as the stamp set I got for being at Regionals PLUS the stamp set I WON!!! I LOVE winning stuff!!!!

A cute little basket using the Big Shot Die Cutter and a 6"x6" scrapbook page that I will convert into a 12"x12" and save for next year (unless we get more snow next week! Sorry)

And this cute little treats holder. So easy, I think this is what I will make for Easter goodies at school. Easter is my turn to make goodies at school.

February Scrappin' Club Class...

These are the 8 pages we made during our Club Night. I also challenged the class to make a page all about them using only the patterned paper and cardstock colour of their choice, plus some vanilla hodgepodge accesories, and their imagination to create a page all about themselves!

This was my page all about me! Simple and to the point, which highlights me (in my opinion)... :)
These are additional pages I made with my left-overs.

These two pages, I used the backside of some of my above pages plus some scraps I had left-over and stickers, so everything that came WITH the kit!!!

These two pages, I created using some additional cardstock in completely different colours plus the stickers I had left-over.

This layout I used another backside of one of my above pages plus some stickers from my I Wish Class back in December.

Another Birthday Party

These girls were SO great! They were very creative, as though they have done a class like this before. I love to see where everyone goes with their books. Here is a frontal view of everyone's books. Due to privacy, I didn't take any shots of the inside's, but they used glitter, stickers, patterned paper, punch shapes, brads, and more! They did a great job!!!

I was the entertainment! At my friend's daughter's 11th birthday party, I brought in some premade Explosion boxes with a TON of stickers, stamps, GLITTER, and more and let the girls decorate to their hearts content! They did a GREAT job!!! I was so proud of all the great work they did. They were told in advance to bring photo's to put inside their boxes. Last year, we made little scrapbooks.

I'll try to post again later today to show today's birthday party results. I have another birthday party I am going to entertain with little scrapbooks. Stay tuned and log on frequently. I'm back and on fire with sharing my pic's!!! I will also download my photo's of my February Club class and share those with you too...

Those who say they will NEVER scrap...

So my friend has watched me scrap for years now and has never even remotely thought about doing it herself. Then I challeneged her to join ONE of my monthly scrapbook classes and that is all it took!! Now she can think of (almost) nothing else, but scrappin'!!! Here is a page she made for me of my Max at her daughter's birthday party. I was out of town during that bday party, so I had no photo's of my own. This is a cherished gift, as it rounds out my book nicely!!!

My other friend Susan, paid me to make her very first scrapbook (for her in-laws 50th anniversary), then her and her daughter fell in love with the look and decided to try one round of my scrapbook classes, again HOOK, LINE, and SINKER!!! Another pair that can think of nothing else by their next scrapbook page. I love bringing in fresh blood!!! These next three pages are ones that Sus made on her own with one of my kit packages.

Okay, so here are my classes I offer regularly...

Already on the go... the third Wednesday of every month (until January) $40.00 per class includes all the supplies and colour instructions to complete 8 12"x12" pages. Come out for the pages, get prizes and tons of laughs!

NEW!!! The first Wednesday of the month - starting December until May - $40.00 per month for 6 months. Same as Scrapbook Club above. I am trying to make up some cards for gift giving this holiday season, so whenever I have just a few minutes I whip up some cards... Also for my Scrapbook Club challenge ladies, here are the two pages I made up this morning while Max stamped beside me. I used only the paper/cardstock left-over from the paper pack I created for everyone. For embellishments, use whatever you wish!! Blast from the Past

I was perusing my scrapbooks, as I frequently do, and came across this page from over a year ago. I found the idea in Creating Keepsakes magazine (my fave!!!) and HAD to recreate it! So I had my husband snap this shot of my newborn Roman (picture taken June 14th, 2007) and I. Had it blown up to 11"x18" and a mini version of it for the bottom left corner. This is one of my all-time favourite layouts of mine! And I just had to share it with you!

June Scrap Class

So I created six layouts for my scrap class in June with no photo's and no embellishments. I was packing up to move instead - oops! Then on the night of the class, I completed my pages and created two additional pages for them to create. All I managed to do was take pictures of my unfinished work so far. I got a new computer and can't find my software to download photo's once more. All still unorganized. So start with these layouts using the Scrappin' Kit Summer Fun and see how you complete these pages. Then next week sometime I will have figured out my computer software dillema and will upload the completed pages. Stay tuned... Happy Scrappin' ladies!

I LOVE to Scrapbook!!

I started with Stampin' Up! because I love using their stuff to create awesome scrapbook pages! I have set lofty goals with my boys scrapbooks and this year, I have set an even loftier goal of actually back up with my own book! What a thought, stepping outside my role of mother to scrapbook! So far, I have failed that goal! But here are some really cute pages I case'd with the Confetti kit! I teach a scrapbook class every month and put myself to the challenge of seeing how many pages I can put together with each kit I feature. My participants get to take away my written instructions (with pictorials) plus the kit and any embellishments I feature each month all for $40. If you should see any kits here that you love and would like to purchase, please don't hesitate! This was my February class - there are a total of 14 pages I created, but I'm only showcasing some of my fave's!! Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Wheelin' Samples as Promised!

Alright, I didn't have time to create any new cards to show you my Spring Wheelin' skills, but here are a couple I made in the wintery cold days... So glad those days are behind us and the sunshine is ahead!! Full sun ahead! These cards were both ideas off of other people! I really like the look of each!

Wheels are also great to use in your scrapbook pages as border creators. They are an inexpensive and versatile tool in your crafting room! People also use them to create borders in their rooms, so the sky is the limit!

Day One on my Blog - How Exciting

Hi all! Here I am entering the world of blog's! I think it's an important thing for me to do, as I have been thinking about it for quite some time! Here in this space, my very own, I am hoping to share with you on many different grounds. I will share my creative creations, my upcoming classes, any Stampin' Up! monthly specials, and so much more. I am also hoping to use this outlet as a medium to share motivational thoughts as I find the ones that move me. Today's thought of the day, I just HAVE to share with all my sisters out there. I read it off of a Starbucks cup and I didn't keep it, so I am paraphrasing it and can't recall the person who was quoted, but it said "There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women"!!! LOVE IT!!! This speaks so loudly to the other aspect of my blog. I am hoping to share with you the inner ticking in my head - I know scary! But at the very least, it can be entertaining! As I stumble through my life trying to prioritize and not spread myself too thin, I will share my trials with all of you. If I can help one person out in a small little way, then my goal of blogging has been achieved!!! Enjoy, save my blog in your favourites, and check back frequently! :):)
